Las Vegas College Roomate Reunion

Since John and Mike hadn't seen each other since graduation and Jenn and I haven't seen each other for several months we all decided to meet up for a college roommate reunion in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, I didn't get all the pictures I wanted but the few I have posted will show what a good time we had.

One of the best parts of the trip (besides seeing our best buddies) was dinner at Osaka . They had some of the best sushi we've ever had. The wait staff was excellent, the food was beautiful and delicious, we sat on the floor to eat and Vanessa forgot to take pictures. :( Suffice it to say, we had a great evening and left satisfied.

We stayed at the Imperial Palace and it wound up being a very nice place. We were a little afraid since we had never been inside it and we knew it was one of the "older" hotels on the strip but it turned out to be just fine. Vanessa even won a little money in the casino but wound up leaving all her quarters (still in the Imperial Palace coin cup) at the front desk after checking out, never to see her winnings again. (It was only $12.50 but you'd have thought she and Jenn hit the jackpot when those four 8s came up on the poker machine and 50 quarters came flying out at them!)

We also saw STOMP and Jubilee. I think STOMP wound up being the favorite of the two but who wouldn't be impressed by a show like that? Musical brooms, sand, pails, sinks, basketballs ... you name it and they made music with it.

Overall I think we all had a wonderful time. Maybe we can all meet up again next summer!!!
