I found poor Frenchie walking down a fairly busy road one day when I was on my way to work. She was barely moving
and with the heat of the mid-day sun coming, I knew she was in trouble. I pulled my car over and she came to me,
slowly. She let me pick her up so I put her in the car, took her back to my house and let her spend the day in the
guest bathroom. Well, after getting her groomed she looked much better and so we took pictures to hang up around
the neighborhood. Well, as I was hanging one of my last posters, a lady stopped and asked if I have found a black
puppy. I commented that Frenchie was kinda black but not really a puppy. Anyway, the lady said that she had
accidenatlly hit a dog, just like Frenchie, driving to work a couple days earlier. Rather than stopping to help the
dog she just continued on to work. Anyway, Frenchie's road rash and swollen hips indicate that she may have been hit.
However, Frenchie has since found a home and is now safe and sound!! The poor old lady caught herself a break!
